Right next door
There are two trails in Ratschings Valley that couldn't be more different. Cross-country skiers can explore the valley trail from Bichl to Flading in classic or skating style on 12 kilometers of easy trails. However, if you want to go as high up as possible, you can let off steam on the Platschjoch high-altitude and panoramic trail in the Ratschings ski area. The 8-seater gondola lift takes you from Bichl up to an altitude of 1800 m, where you can admire the magnificent panorama and unspoiled natural landscape on 16 km of trails.
Cross-country skiing far away from the hustle and bustle
In the Pfitsch Valley near Sterzing, you will find an easy to moderately difficult circular trail that leads in two loops through the high valley of Pfitsch. Due to the special location and seclusion of the valley, it is a real insider tip for completely escaping the stress of everyday life.
