Summit hiking week with Carmen Saxl
The Wipptal holiday region with Ratschings, Ridnauntal, Plersch and Pfitschtal offers a wide variety of hiking areas with breathtaking views and insights into the beautiful South Tyrolean mountains.
This week all nature lovers will get their money's worth. With Carmen we go to lonely and panoramic peaks in the South Tyrolean mountains, which are undoubtedly among the real insider tips.
With a bit of luck we will also see some of the mountain inhabitants such as chamois and marmots.
Requirements:
absolute sure-footedness, reasonably free from heights, mostly narrow hiking trails - partly exposed, good fitness (hm, km)
Equipment:
Ankle-high hiking boots, hiking clothes (rain jacket), backpack with a change of shirt, 1.5 liter water bottle, possibly hiking poles
Participants 6-12 people
On the day of arrival we meet at 6:30 p.m. to get to know each other in the hotel bar, where Carmen gives us a detailed overview of the week and tells us what to expect.

Our expert
Carmen is at home in the South Tyrolean mountains. She grew up on a mountain farm. She loves being out in nature and bringing it closer to her guests; in summer as an international hiking guide, in winter as a ski instructor. She has been leading hikers through the Alps for three years now and trying to convey to them the beauty of her homeland. She feels most at home away from the crowds, where you can still enjoy the freedom and peace of the mountains to the fullest.
