    Grand Excursion through the Dolomites

This is a very challenging motorcycle tour, but offers many priceless impressions of the Dolomites. Of course, it's also a fun drive. (The Prodoi Pass includes 33 turns up and 28 turns down!!!)

We begin by driving to Sterzing/Vipiteno and then turning to the right towards Brixen/Bressanone. Follow the street signs to Bruneck/Brunico - Toblach/Dobbiaco. Just before Toblach/Dobbiaco, take a right turn to Cortina, cross the Höhlenstein Valley / Val di Landro, and take a left turn to Lake Misurina. You should now drive to Passo Tre Croci and on to Cortina. Drive through the town and follow the signs to Passo Falzarego (2,105 meters above sea-level). As soon as you arrive in Arabba, continue upwards via the Passo Prodoi (33 runs!!!). When you continue downwards to Canazei, you'll enjoy another 28 turns. Gradually, you may be getting hungry - time for lunch! After a break for lunch, continue upwards to the Passo Sella (2,244 meters above sea-level). From there, you'll have a wonderful view of the 3,181-meter-high Langkofl / Sass Long. You can now drive a few turns down and take a right turn to Passo Gardena. Continue on to Corvara and St Martin in Thurn. You now still have the option of driving to Würzjoch / Passo delle Erbe or continuing along the main road to Brixen/Bressanone and Sterzing/Vipiteno and back to the Hotel Haller. But we think you won't be able to resist to drive to the sixth and last pass. At Würzjoch / Passo delle Erbe, there is a little refreshment stop where you can fill up on coffee and cake. Afterwards, you can continue on to Brixen/Bressanone and from there to Sterzing/Vipiteno and Mareit/Mareta. The entire tour has a length of approx. 310 km!!!
